This beer is all around challenging first impressions.

Greg hasn’t historically liked stout in the past but was tasked with creating one while learning to brew. He didn't enjoy the dark roasted malt that gives Stout its unique bitter flavour and body (especially imperial styles). Not one to shy away from a challenge he tried tonnes of different versions with his father in law and settled that a ‘Milk Stout’ was the way to go.



Short & Stout was originally brewed on cask and was a must around Leicestershire.
